What is a Tooth Filling?
A filling is a treatment that focuses on restoring your tooth by removing decay and inserting a material that will seamlessly blend with your existing teeth and return the tooth to it’s original function.
What should I expect at my appointment?
At your appointment your dentist will thoroughly clean the affected tooth to removal all bacteria. Then, once all the harmful bacteria has been removed they will apply the filling material and set it in place. With ongoing regular care and maintenance and regular 6 monthly appointments, a filling can last up to seven years.
