For children who are eligible, the Children’s Dental Benefit Schedule provides up to $1,000 over a two-year cycle per eligible child. The scheme covers dental services such as routine check-ups, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealants, root canals and extractions. There are some restrictions that are applied.
